Okay, everyone, so I lost a fic that I have a sudden hankering to read, and I have so many favorited stories that I have no hope of finding it on my own. So your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to please, please, please help me find it. It's a gen fic where Dean gets into a staring contest with the archangel Michael and wins--as a result, he starts manifesting angelic qualities, such as being drawn to people who need help, ability to talk to animals (i.e., Bobby's dog), etc. I also seem to recall him having a connection to Michael after that, and there was something about Dean having flare-ups of a back injury that was a result of the showdown with Azazel. It's an older fic, I think--written back before Season 3 got rolling (I think). Anyways, if anyone can help me find it, I'd be incredibly grateful! |

1) Both of them are psychotic and evil, but still devoted and loving towards each other, even if it's a twisted love.
2) Dean protects an evil and unbalanced Sam at any cost.
I love the imagery of Sam killing people and being covered in blood, but still innocent because he's doing it all to protect Dean or he doesn't really understand right and wrong. So anything like that would be met with much love. And powers!sam is always lovely. Oh, I just gave myself another prompt.
3) Powers!Sam fics where Dean is the only one who can control his brother.

I'm looking for a specific J2 AU set in Texas. Jared is a Texas Ranger, partnered with CMM, who comes back to his hometown and arrests Jensen for something. Don't remember what. They had a relationship in the past that ended when Jared left town but there's some mysterious backstory about why Jensen couldn't leave. Michael Ronsenbaum was Jensen's lawyer and Chris Kane ran the local roadhouse.
The story had a real Harlequin story feel to it. If anyone can point me in the right direction, I'd appreciate it. Thanks. |
